  4. QUICKY INSTALLATION:

  7. a) ON DISK
  8.    -------

  10.    1) FORMAT A DISK!
  11.    2) RENAME THE DISK 'SYNDICATE_PRO_DEMO:'
  12.    3) type 'LHA e SYNDEMO2.lha df0:' which will extract data to df0:
  13.    4) Make Directories On Your New Floppy :     df0:c 
  14.                         df0:devs/monitors
  15.                         df0:libs
  16.                         
  17.    5) Copy The Following C commands into the df0:c directory
  18.       (Anything The S:startup-sequence asks for!)
  19.                         df0:c/Addbuffers
  20.                         df0:c/Assign
  21.                         df0:c/Copy
  22.                         df0:c/delete
  23.                         df0:c/execute
  24.                         df0:c/Iprefs
  25.                         df0:c/list
  26.                         df0:c/Loadwb        
  27.                         df0:c/Makedir
  28.                         df0:c/SetPatch
  29.                         df0:c/Version

  31.    6) Copy the required Monitor drivers to your df0:devs/monitors directory
  32.       i.e DBLPAL,Multiscan etc
  33.    7) Copy 
  34.         The Diskfont.library 
  35.         & version.library 
  36.       from WB disks to the df0:Libs Directory
  37.    8) Copy topaz.font off WB disks into the df0:Fonts directory
  38.    9) MAKE THE DISK SELF-BOOTING! by TYPING 'install df0:'

  42. HardDrive Installation
  43. ----------------------
  44. As this is a demo version it's not totally user-friendly to install!, but
  45. not that hard.  All you have to do is make a directory on your Harddrive
  46. and then copy ALL the relevant files on the floppy.  Afterwards add the
  47. assign "SYNDICATE_PRO_DEMO:" to your user-startup sequence.

  50. THE ITEMS YOU NEED ARE:>

  52. 1) A FLOPPY DISK LABELED 'SYNDICATE_PRO_DEMO:' or IF ON HARDDRIVE YOU WILL
  53.    NEED TO ADD AN ASSIGN TO YOUR DIRECTORY.
  54.  
  55. 2) IN THE FONTS DIRECTORY YOU WILL NEED THE 'TOPAZ' FONT (WB) AND ANOTHER
  56.    FONT CALLED 'CYBER' WHICH YOU JUST COPY INTO YOUR FONTS: DRAWER ON
  57.    DISK/HARDDRIVE.

  59. 3) THE SHARE.SHP NEEDS TO BE IN THE PARENT DIRECTORY OF THE
  60.    SYNDICATE_PRO_DEMO: DISK/DIRECTORY.

  62. 4) THE SYNDICATE_PRO.GUIDE & READ_ME_FIRST! ALSO NEED TO BE IN THE ROOT
  63.    DIRECTORY.

  122. 2) A1200 Blizzard 40mhz 7 Meg
  123. 3) A4000/030 25 mhz 14 Meg

  126. If it does not work on your configuration then contact me with all the
  127. details etc /error reports you receive from the program.  This will ensure
  128. that I achieve complete compatability with all WB2.0+ machines /
  129. configurations.
